This is a circular walk on bridleways, footpaths and rural lanes in the centre of the Island, through a mix of arable, downs and woodland, with plenty of stunning views from high points and opportunities to spot birds, animals and wildflowers.
This walk will follow a moderate pace.
Varying landscape with some more challenging slopes. Stiles and steps to be expected en route, suitable for keen walkers and anyone who is reasonably active.
Suitable for a person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of stairs.
The walk ends with afternoon tea with a local beekeeper at their house in Chillerton, followed by a quarter mile walk to cars parked at St Olave's church, or 150m walk to bus stop. No on the day bookings due to catering requirements.
