From historic Carisbrooke Castle, down the Tennyson Trail through pretty Freshwater Bay and up up up to Tennyson Monument, you’ll descend into Alum Bay with a spectacular view of The Needles. The 14 mile ‘hilly half’ of Walk the Wight is jam packed with stunning scenery.

This walk will follow a moderate pace.
Varying landscape with some more challenging slopes. Stiles and steps to be expected en route, suitable for keen walkers and anyone who is reasonably active.
Walkers need to be reasonably agile and mobile. Not suitable for walkers with mobility impairment of any kind.
