Mottistone Common has a history that stretches back thousands of years, but it is also a haven for wildlife, which our work (National Trust) protects. This walk will take you across the landscape and through time, to discover traces of life that has, and still does, live here.

Admire Shanklin’s panoramic coastal views, Chine, Old Village and hills whilst discovering its volunteer community aspect, all with a hint of history. Refreshments will be provided at the Victorian Shanklin Theatre, one of the town’s greatest volunteering success stories.
Starting from Godshill, this circular walk takes us out into the AONB and up onto Stenbury Down towards Appuldurcombe House. Super views with super hills!
