Feb-May 2009 Sponsored event 26 'virtual’ miles
Children walk to school, walk at school and at weekends over a period of months. Each 20-30 minute activity counts as a unit, 26 units equals 26 miles. Children and families also invited to join the last 4 miles of Walk the Wight on May 17th, from Freshwater to the Needles Park. Last year school children raised over £30,000.
