A Walking Extravaganza Evening at the Riverside Centre
Friday 23rd October 7.30 pm
Local walking personality Jill Green’s inspirational talk on
"My Love of Walking and where it has led me"
In May Jill Green gave an amazing and inspirational talk on, "My Love of Walking and where it has led me", at Medina Theatre. Jill’s pictorial presentation shows how she started walking as a young child – following in her fathers footsteps, and how she ended up becoming an Ultra Distance Race Walker, one of only two people in the world to have completed a centurion (walking 100 miles) in all six countries where the race takes place,
and amongst her experiences and many accomplishments she has three times completed the famous Paris to Colmar 210 non stop!
